Most guests will arrive via Cape Town International Airport (CPT), about 20 minutes from the city centre. The airport is well-serviced with both local and international flights.

Transport from the Airport:

Airport Shuttles: The Vineyard Hotel offers a shuttle service that can be pre-booked directly through the hotel.

Ridesharing Apps:

Uber operates throughout Cape Town, offering convenient options for getting to your accommodation. Try to avoid using other apps.

Car Rentals:

Cars are the primary mode of transport, so consider renting a vehicle. All venues will have adequate parking spaces. Renting at the airport is usually the easiest option.

Wedding Event Shuttles:

Shuttles will be provided from the Vineyard Hotel to the venues and there will be shuttles returning from the venues to the Vineyard Hotel

December in Cape Town is summer, with warm days and cool evenings. The temperatures are comfortable with low of 17°C and and high up to 25°C.

It’s a good idea to bring sunscreen, a hat, and a light jacket for the evenings - Cape Town is notorious for four seasons in a day!

You can expect a few rainy days during the month, but usually the weather is warm and sunny! Perfect for beach days and hikes up the beautiful mountains.
